The way we Founders met was working in a primarily customer-service focussed job so we’ve had a little practice on keeping customers happy. For us, it comes down to two things: be kind and treat others how you wish to be treated.
At Conscious House we want our customers to feel welcomed, happy and reassured. We aim to provide the most information possible about our products and operations so that you know exactly what you’re purchasing. We also strive for sustainability from every angle so you know that the choices you make aren’t damaging the planet. However, if you have any questions at all you can contact us on email@example.com and we will respond to your query at the very latest within 48 hours.
If there is something you’re not happy with, you can also reach us on the same email address and we’ll do our utmost to resolve your problem.

1. Your information
When you make a purchase from our store we collect the personal information required to process your order which includes your name, address and email address. When you browse our store online we also receive information on your IP address which allows us to analyse the performance of our website and the trends on how people view the site.
If you sign up to receive our marketing communications which includes newsletters and offers we keep your email address and a record of your preferences until you unsubscribe, which you can do at any time.
We do NOT disclose your personal information to any other third parties at any time with the exception of the below circumstances:
i) to our payment gateway provider in order to complete your order (see Section 3)
ii) if we are required to do so by Law
iii) if you violate our Service Terms
When you browse the Conscious House store, or place an order with us you consent to our collection and storing of your personal information for reasons listed in Section 1. Should we use your personal information for non-purchase reasons, such as marketing and communications, you will always be asked for consent.
Conscious House is hosted on Wix Website Editor upon which we will use a payment gateway provider. Payment policy and terms will be updated when the store section of this site is live.
We take all reasonable precautions to protect your personal information and we follow procedures to make sure it is not accessed, disclosed, lost, misused or changed.
When you provide us with your credit card information via the payment gateway the information is encrypted using the SSL (secure socket layer) technology. When purchasing via our website, you understand that any means of information transmission over the Internet is not 100% secure, but that we follow all PCI-DSS requirements to ensure that no data errors occur.
Cookies are small pieces of data stored on your browser which is used to keep track of your actions whilst on a particular site. We do use some cookies in order to understand our user flow and general activity on our site.
6. Policy Amendments
If material changes are made to the Policy we will notify you via this page, and in our marketing communications (should you be subscribed) so that you are aware of any changes in how we use your information.
